JJD Ministries, Inc. is directed by our brother Jimmy Negron Jr. When Jimmy was in the world he played his trombone in different clubs with various bands. But God rescued Jimmy through music and he continued playing his instrument for God through various Christian groups.

A little over two year ago a desire came over Jimmy to begin his own Christian orchestra and he put this desire in prayer. A year later, Jimmy's prayer was answered and he received confirmation through three different vessels of God. God made it clear that it was not Jimmy's idea to begin this ministry but His.

On January 16, 2002 the orchestra had its first rehearsal. A group of Christian musicians from different churches and denominations gathered at Bethel Temple.

Jimmy and his wife Judie had spent several months looking for a name to go with the logo they already had. For more than three months names came and went, but still there was no name, and they began to get frustrated. One night Judie sat in front of her computer and looked at the logo. Right at that moment she prayed to God and asked God to reveal to her the name He wanted for the group. When she focused back at the screen she looked at the logo and for the first time really saw the logo, a burning bush or "Zarza Ardiente."

The ministry has had some trying times in the last two years, but God always prevails.  We are thankful everyday that the Lord is with us in everything we do and every location God sends us to minister.
